Research to look at pressures on rural services during COVID-19

Iqbal Hamiduddin and Nick Gallent have been awarded UCL Grand Challenges funding to examine the pressures experienced by rural services including healthcare from second home residents during the course of the Covid-19 pandemic. The research will focus on the UK’s scenic amenity areas and will include detailed case study research with colleagues from the Brecon Beacons National Park Authority in South Wales.
