UCL ChangeMakers

UCL ChangeMakers provides project funding as a tool to help faculties and departments address student feedback and ideas. Through these projects, students and staff work together in partnership to bring about improvements to the student learning experience at UCL. Read more about ChangeMakers on the UCL website.

The Projects

Isabel's project, ‘Building Blocks: Big Data for Urban Design’  is supported by Ms Paula Morais and will also recruit students across MSc programmes at The Bartlett School of Planning.

The BSP panel praised this proposal as it captures engagement and benefits for at least three programmes (MSc Urban Design and City Planning, MSc Sustainable Urbanism, and MRes Interdisciplinary Urban Design). It is an ambitious and well crafted project that the department would not normally undertake, and it is aiming to use more widley in future years. It has potential to significantly enhance urban design education across the Faculty.

Dr Juliana Martins' project '‘Building a new PhD Research Support Portal’ has been awarded the Postgraduate Research Projects Fund.
