New Built Environment Club launches in Ecuador
19 January 2017
The Bartlett has launched a new Built Environment club in Quito, Ecuador.
This is the seventh club, following those created in Shanghai, Chongqing, Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore and Seoul.
The launch coincided with the Development Planning Unit’s (DPU) presence at Habitat III, which brought together world-leading experts to discuss city development.
Julio Davila, Director of DPU, welcomed around 100 alumni of different ages at the event. Many are now employed in local and national universities, national funding agencies, professional practice and consulting firms and the UN.
Following Julio Davila’s welcome, David Cobb, Bartlett Director of Business Development, outlined the history behind the launching of UCL Built Environment Clubs and the opportunity they present to both local alumni and their professional associates interested in the Built Environment.
A LinkedIn group has been launched for the Quito Built Environment club.
