Yago is drawn to the opportunity to explore his community, learn new skills and take time to sit with important questions that impact their daily lives. Zarah is interested in being a part of the citizen science research as she believes it is important for the people in her area to be involved in the decision making. ‘Citizen science allows the voices of a community to be heard through our research and this research can then impact the decisions made about the area’.
