Henrietta Moore's Bond blogpost predicts move away from GDP thinking

7 January 2016

Henrietta Moore

What will be the most significant trends and breakthroughs to reshape development in 2016? This is the question posed to some of the most influential thinkers in the field of international development by Bond. Bond is the UK membership body for organisations working in international development or supporting those that do through funding, research, training and other services. Bond aims to address the challenges posed in the continually changing practice of international development, and has turned to Professor Moore, along with leaders like James Goodman (Forum for the Future) and Lars Gustavsson (World Vision), to help shape the organisation's training strategy and advocacy thinking.

Professor Moore has commented on the need to 'jettison our obsession with economic "growth" and instead focus on how we achieve genuine prosperity.' You can read the full blog post on the Bond website.
