The Speaker:

Sarah Dew is the incoming Head of Policy Design at Camden Council. Sarah is leading the Council’s Secretariat for the Renewal Commission, an ambitious, mission oriented programme of policy design to build a more inclusive, sustainable economy in Camden. Prior to this, Sarah worked with Camden’s Inclusive Economy team to design ‘Good Work Camden’ – a system of support to help people into good quality work. Before joining Camden, Sarah was an Innovation Consultant at the not-for-profit Innovation Unit, where she led a diverse programme of work across the public and not for profit sectors. This included: research into scaling and spreading innovation in the NHS with the Health Foundation, a year long innovation programme to co-design community approaches to end of life care, and the co-design of a new employment support offer for people with long term health conditions.

Sarah’s informal talk ‘Locally led experimentation: Testing components of Universal Basic Services’ will share the work of the Council to test out new approaches to supporting people on their journey into work.
