Summary
Before joining UCL, Konrad was a strategist and copywriter at advertising agencies in Poland, Germany and Iceland, and a postdoctoral researcher at the Global Urban Research Unit in Newcastle University's School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape.
Recent projects
Konrad has been involved in a number of large-scale European research and innovation projects, including SOCIAL POLIS, KATARSIS, SPINDUS, SHUC, MOVE and TRANS-MAKING, that explored the role of arts, participatory planning, citizen science and social, economic and technological innovation in designing liveable cities.
Research interests
His research interests include transdisciplinary urban studies, public transportation, futures studies and urban innovation through art and technology. He has published in Urban Studies, Cities, International Planning Studies and the Journal of Urban Design.
