Join Dr Sam Chandan, Adrian Silver, Anna Coltrane, and Bartlett alum Tres Seippel in this open discussion about the importance of being a built environment professional as well as a visible member of the LGBTQIA+ community. 

During this Inclusive Spaces session they will highlight the work being done by The Real Estate Pride Council, an association of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender professionals in the global commercial real estate industry, and its mission in advocating for LGBTQ+ representation in commercial real estate and the professions of the built environment, while serving as a resource for the industry. 

About the Speakers

Tres Seippel

Real estate strategy and finance executive

Tres Seippel is a real estate strategy and finance executive. He is the Chair of the UCL New York Alumni Club, a Board Member of the University College London Friends and Alumni Association (UCLFAA), a young committee member of the Real Estate Pride Council, a committee member of the RICS Tri-State Chapter, and has guest lectured on market analytics at New York University. Tres holds several international designations including the MRICS and MAI and is a licensed Certified General Appraiser in New York and New Jersey.

Adrian Silver

Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia University

Adrian is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia University, where he teaches real estate sustainability. Previously, Adrian was Head of Business Development at CodeGreen Solutions, a real estate sustainability consultancy, and an early team member at Carbon Lighthouse, where he initiated over $5m of energy efficiency retrofits across the US, equivalent to multiple power plants of emissions. Adrian serves on the Board of Directors for Community Impact, Columbia University’s largest community service organization.

Anna Coltrane

Director of Development at Space Craft

Anna Coltrane currently serves as the Director of Development at Space Craft where she is responsible for all aspects of new project development from acquisition through lease-up. Prior to Space Craft, Anna spent 3 years in ground up development with Juno Co and Related Companies, working on modular multifamily housing, Equinox Hotels, and Related-Atria Senior Living Facilities. Before that, she spent nearly 5 years in commercial real estate finance with Eastdil Secured Wells Fargo in New York City. Anna is a committee member of the Real Estate Pride Council and is passionate about walkable urbanism, sustainable development and creation of inclusive, community-oriented spaces.
