The 2017 Bartlett Doctoral Conference will take place from 10:00 – 17:00 on Friday 23 June.
The event brings together Bartlett doctoral students to share their research on Sustainable Built Environment.
The keynote speaker is Professor Peter Hansford and he will be talking about “Reducing carbon emissions in the Built Environment”.
About the speaker
Professor Peter Hansford is currently a Professor of Construction and Infrastructure Policy at University College London.
He was Chief Construction Adviser to the UK Government from 2012 to 2015, the Past President of the Institution of Civil Engineers and a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering.
Professor Peter Hansford has been commissioned recently by the Board of Network Rail to undertake an Independent Review of ‘contestability’ in the UK Rail Market.
He has over 40 years’ experience in major infrastructure projects, in the UK and overseas.
