Duties and responsibilities
The Bartlett School of Energy, Environment and Resources is seeking a Research Fellow to support the Climate Compatible Growth (CCG) programme. CCG seeks to support investment in sustainable energy and transport systems that meets development priorities in low- and middle-income countries. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking rigorous quantitative research using energy modelling to assess pathways and policies towards climate compatible growth in our partner countries.
This post is available from 01/04/2023 and is funded for 12 months in the first instance, further funding to support the post may be available.
Key requirements
The successful candidate will have expertise in the development and application of energy modelling relating to energy transitions and climate policy, and to have been awarded at least a Masters level degree in a relevant discipline. They should have research project experience of quantitative scenario modelling, preferably in low- and middle-income countries, and be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team.
