Student Research for a Sustainable Future – UCL Sustainability for Higher Education Initiative event

Four of the top Master’s dissertations from The Bartlett School of Environment, Energy and Resources were showcased at an event connecting academics, alumni and students with the rest of the Higher Education sector and general public interested in sustainability.

The UCL Sustainability and Higher Education Initiative organised a dissertation research showcase to demonstrate how our students are applying knowledge gained from their Masters degrees to solve sustainability, heath and wellbeing challenges with their own original dissertation research.

Four recent MSc graduates from Light and Lighting MSc, Environmental Design and Engineering MSc, Health, Wellbeing and Sustainable Buildings MSc and Economics and Policy of Energy and the Environment MSc shared their research. From gender equality and social inclusion in energy planning, to passive cooling design strategies in epilepsy care homes, the students excellent presentations demonstrated the breadth of research interests in our School.
