Duties and Responsibilities

We are seeking a Research Administrator to join our team at The Bartlett School of Environment Energy and Resources, supporting the School’s research portfolio.

Working as part of the research administration team and in conjunction with relevant academic and administrative staff, the post holder will provide administrative support managing the research proposal process, contracts, financial monitoring procedures, reporting and other grant project related tasks.

This post would suit someone looking to gain experience in an exciting research environment.  Full training will be provided to develop an understanding of proposal and grant support processes.

BSEER is a fast growing, internationally renowned School for cross disciplinary research with economists, energy modellers, social scientists, building engineers, physicists and heritage specialists all working to mitigate climate change.

Key Requirements

Applicants should be A level educated with good numeracy and financial data analysis skills. They should have experience of providing administrative support to senior staff and be capable of developing an understanding and ability to analyse research proposals and business plans and being able to offer constructive comments and feedback.

The role requires good reporting skills and ability to present data in a variety of methods. Successful candidates will be able to work independently, proactively, and as part of a team, taking a flexible approach to changing priorities.
