New Energy Innovators Talk Series launched as part of our Energy Systems and Data Analytics MSc

Our new Master's programme in Energy Systems and Data Analytics, which started in October 2018, has prompted the launch of a series of talks in which students and the public can hear from entrepreneurs and innovators working at the forefront of the energy sector.
The first talk took place on 19 February, with Peter Davies, CEO and founder of Verv. Peter spoke about the work of his company, Verv, named hottest AI startup in the UK by Techworld news in 2018. The company aims to make homes smarter and more efficient using cutting-edge AI and machine learning technology. The talk gave the audience some fascinating insights into the founding of a successful tech start-up and innovation in the energy sector.
