About the series

The Energy Institute launched its Energy Systems and Data Analytics MSc in October 2018. The course aims to give students a skillset that combines an understanding of the energy system and machine learning.

As part of this programme, we are launching the Energy Innovators Talk Series. This five-week series will give Energy Institute students (as well as staff) the opportunity to hear from entrepreneurs and innovators working at the forefront of transforming the energy sector.

About the talk

The speaker for our first talk is Peter Davies, CEO and Founder of Verv. Awarded Innovator of the Year at the 2016 Business Green Technology awards, Peter is a serial entrepreneur, Blockchain specialist, LabVIEW expert and tech enthusiast. His mission is to create positive social change through innovative technology.

Peter will be discussing the work of his company, Verv – named hottest AI startup in the UK by Techworld news in 2018. Verv aims to make homes smarter and more efficient, using cutting-edge AI and machine learning technology.

Please do join us for what promises to be a very interesting talk on both technology and entrepreneurship in the energy sector. Go to Eventbrite to register for a free ticket.
