Leading the vision of Digital Innovation in the Built Environment is Professor Tim Broyd (iDIBE Director).

Professor Tim Broyd, Institute Director

Tim Broyd is Professor of Built Environment Foresight at The Bartlett School of Sustainable Construction and Director of IDIBE. He is also an Honorary Professor of Civil Engineering at UCL.

In his role at UCL, Tim works with industry, government and academia to understand and prepare for the future challenges and opportunities in the built environment. He is a leading advocate for building information modelling (BIM) and a founding member of the UK Government’s BIM Task Group.
