Research summary
My research interests lie at the intersection of management, social science, and engineering. I am a Royal Academy of Engineering (RAEng) Leverhulme Trust Research Fellow 2022-23, working on understanding and designing digital twins for meeting a Net Zero vision through a system-of-systems approach.
I have been looking at digital technologies, such as Building Information Modelling (BIM), as innovations for generating, sharing, and managing information, communication and knowledge among project actors and ecosystems. As digital innovations affect collaboration and how individuals, groups and supply chains work together, I'm interested in digital and relational aspects of digital economy.

Prior to joining academia, I worked as architect and design manager on a number of complex, international, and varying-scale projects in Greece, the Netherlands, and the Middle-East. I have a PhD degree in Design and Construction Management on the ‘Alignment of Partnering with Construction IT’ from Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), Netherlands, and a MSc degree (cum laude) in Architecture – with an emphasis on digital – also from TU Delft. Before moving to the Netherlands, I graduated (cum laude) from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in Greece, with a Diploma in Architectural Engineering.
I am member of the Architects Registration Board (ARB) in the UK, the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE-TCG) and the Association for Project Management (MAPM).
