Real Estate Finance
School research theme: Economics and finance of the built environment
Research supervisors: Prof. Stanimira Milcheva and Dr Nikodem Szumilo
Start date: September 2021
My first paper aims to examine the influence of work-from-home induced mobility change on the UK housing market during COVID-19. My second and third research focuses on real estate private equity, commercial real estate, and ESG. I am also interested in a few additional topics related to real estate finance and urban planning, including REITs, climate change, and gentrification.
Before coming to UCL, I studied in China and the US (Beijing Normal University & University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill), and I had real estate research experience within both the public and private sectors (Shanghai Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development & CBRE Investment Management).
