RAIM - Responsible Automation for Inclusive Mobility
Overview
The RAIM research project is a British-Canadian collaboration to address how autonomous vehicles can improve the lives of older travelers. We are based at the University of Manitoba, Canada, and the University of Leeds and University College London, UK.
The project will focus on two settings - in the West Midlands, UK and Winnipeg, Canada - where we will work closely with local people and partners. The project runs until 2023, and is funded by British (ESRC, EPSRC, MRC, AHRC) and Canadian (CIHR, SSHRC, NSERC) research councils under the Canada-UK Artificial Intelligence Initiative.
