Research summary
I am a Research Fellow in Extragalactic Astronomy at the department of Physics and Astronomy. As part of the First Light research group, my primary interest is to study the formation and evolution of galaxies in the early Universe. I do this primarily by using observations from some of the most advanced ground-based and space-based telescopes. How early galaxies helped shape the Universe that we see today is an exciting challenge in observation astronomy.
I am also interested in the nature of radio galaxies, that are powered by an active galactic nucleus (AGN) in the early Universe. Radio galaxies are some of the most massive and spectacular objects and understanding their origin can shed light on many physical phenomena in the early Universe.
