Dr Aparna Kumar Awarded 2023 Getty/ACLS Postdoctoral FellowshipKumar has been recognised as one of ten outstanding early-career art historians from around the world whose innovative scholarship stands to make substantial and original contributions to the understanding of art and its history. The fellowship includes a $60,000 stipend and an additional $5,000 for travel and research. | |

Former UCL HoA Erasmus student Karolina Wilczyńska wins prestigious Fulbright FellowshipWilczyńska's Fulbright grant focuses on Mierle Laderman Ukeles’s activity which is considered in terms of the broadly understood relation between art, neoliberalism and the choreography of bodies. Karolina is interested in the co-dependency and interactions between the urban space of New York City and citizens and workers choreography of everyday as well as a concept of waste and garbage in capitalism and the artist’s rethinking of the very idea of a maintenance that links everything together. |
