Job Vacancy: Teaching and Learning Support Administrator

The UCL Institute of Archaeology currently has a vacancy for a Teaching and Learning Support Administrator (Ref.: B03-01891). The deadline for applications is 14 February 2024.
A Teaching and Learning Support Administrator is sought to assist the Academic Administrator with the management and running of the teaching, examining and pastoral functions of the Institute of Archaeology in relation to nearly 500 students enrolled for our 25 undergraduate and Masters degrees as well as c.150 inter-departmental students.
The post-holder will assist with the timetabling of seminars and submission of student assessments, programme administration and student support.
The post-holder must be flexible, patient, sympathetic to the needs of students, keep to deadlines and be able to multi-task in a busy office. Excellent IT skills will be especially important, as will an ability to work with members of academic staff holding major tutorial posts.
Candidates will have a minimum of five GCSEs at Grade C or above (including Mathematics and English Language) or equivalent, experience of undertaking administrative tasks in a University/HE environment and an understanding of the types of problems faced by students, and a commitment to supporting staff and students.
