UCL Undergraduate Virtual Open Days

2 June 2021

UCL's Undergraduate Virtual Open Days will take place from 7-18 June 2021.

Undergraduate Admissions (University Archaeology Day 2017)

UCL's Open Days are packed with subject-specific admissions talks providing prospective students with an insight into the various degree programmes available. Participants will have the unique opportunity to speak to admissions staff and academic tutors but also interact with current students and alumni to find out what studying at UCL is really like.

The bespoke UCL Open Days virtual site will go live on Monday 7 June, with students able to explore all the programmes available at UCL. Bookings for live interactive sessions will also go live on that day. High demand is anticipated and participants are advised to register their interest in advance.

Undergraduate students at the UCL Institute of Archaeology learn about a full range of theoretical, analytical and field methods and also have the opportunity to follow their interests in particular chronological periods, geographical areas or special fields of study.

Studying Archaeology provides students with transferable skills valuable across a number of careers, not least becoming an Archaeologist. Few other subject areas address the wide breadth of skills and knowledge covered in an archaeology degree. Students leave the Institute having had the opportunity to develop key communication, teamwork and analytical skills, alongside planning, project management, risk assessment and resilience.
