Countdown to UCL: A-Level results 2019
15 August 2019
Congratulations to everyone who received their A-Level results today and will be joining the UCL Institute of Archaeology next month!
If you have done better than expected and would like to consider an Adjustment opportunity at the UCL Institute of Archaeology, please see the information on the UCL Adjustment Opportunities website which outlines the process and all the things you need to know.
Make sure to also check out the Countdown to UCL website for lots of information for new students!
Undergraduate degree programmes at the Institute are designed to provide extensive general training in archaeology - students can expect to learn about a full range of theoretical, analytical and field methods from some of the world's leading archaeological researchers. They will also have the opportunity to follow their interests in particular chronological periods, geographical areas or special fields of study.
In the first week of the academic year, the 4-day Experimental Archaeology course gives new undergraduates early exposure to a wide variety of aspects of earlier technologies and archaeological processes. It also provides excellent opportunities for students to get to know each other, as well as the officers of the student society.
Any enquiries about undergraduate degrees at the Institute may be directed to Charlotte Frearson, Student Recruitment & Experience Officer/Fieldwork & Placement Coordinator/Careers Tutor.
