Michael Stewart (UCL Anthropology and founder of Open City Docs) will introduce Chronique d'un Été, a film by Jean Rouch and Edgar Morin 92' as part of the UCL Festival of the Arts on 7 May.
This is the first ever screening in the UK of the remastered, digital version of Chronique d'un Été, released last year by the Comite de Film Ethnographique and this year in England by the BFI, to whom we are grateful for this opportunity.
The film screening will be followed by a discussion with Open City Docs.
The UCL Festival of the Arts which takes place between 7-17 May 2013 is dedicated to showcasing the breadth and depth of the work which takes place across the UCL Faculties of Arts & Humanities and Social & Historical Sciences.
The event is free and all are welcome.
