The Jack O'Neill Amyloidosis Laboratory

The Jack O’Neill Amyloidosis Laboratory is part of the National Amyloidosis Centre which is located in the UCL Medical School at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, London.

The Jack O'Neill Amyloidosis Laboratory provides diagnostic services, including DNA analysis of genes associated with hereditary amyloidosis and systemic autoinflammatory syndromes, histology and proteomic analysis.

Accreditation and compliance
The Jack O’Neil Laboratory is a UKAS accredited medical laboratory No.9878, the scope of our current accreditation is specified on the UKAS website: https://www.ukas.com/downloadschedule/9878/Medical/ 
 
Newly developed tests may be out of the UKAS schedule of accreditation during an initial period but are performed to the same standards as accredited tests from the moment they are integrated into our Quality Management System. To update the schedule of accreditation and include new tests the laboratory applies to Extension to Scope.
