Principal Investigator

Luke is a lecturer at UCL in the Department of Physics and Astronomy. I’m interested in building tabletop experiments — using the techniques of atomic, molecular and optical (AMO) physics — to test the fundamental laws of physics.

I did my PhD with Mike Tarbutt and Ben Sauer at Imperial College London, and postdoctoral research with Eric Cornell and Jun Ye at JILA, University of Colorado Boulder.

Outside of physics, I enjoy going running, eating, and watching almost any sport.
