Shodona Kettle to co-chair Haiti event at UCL Centre for the Study of Legacies of British Slavery

UCL Americas PhD student Shodona Kettle will act as co-moderator, together with Professor Matthew J Smith (UCL History and director of UCL CSLBS) at an upcoming event on Haiti co-organised by the UCL Centre for the Study of Legacies of British Slavery (CSLBS) and Haiti Support Group (HSG). At this event, titled 'Haiti Now and Then' a panel of experts will consider and discuss recent events in and related to Haiti in the context of the country's long history. This event is scheduled to take place online on October 22 2021, starting at 18:30. More information and registration details via this link.
