Digby Ogston wins place at competitive UN training programme in Santiago de Chile

We warmly congratulate our PhD student Digby Ogston on being awarded a place to study at the School on Latin American Economies of the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC, or CEPAL in Spanish), which will take place in Santiago de Chile in early 2021. Digby was one of the 28 students elected to participate in these competitive sessions. There were more than 200 applicants from 30 countries vying for a place at next year's training programme.
Digby is currently pursuing his PhD studies at UCL Institute of the Americas under the supervision of Dr Nestor Castaneda.
