UCL Centre for Artificial Intelligence
The Centre takes inspiration from the vast array of applications across UCL and acts as the engine of methodological progress. The AI Centre has close research and training links to other local AI communities, including the Gatsby Computational Neuroscience Unit and the Alan Turing Institute. The AI Centre is part of UCL's wider AI Strategy and serves as the engine of methodological development across UCL.

New Research Fellow in AI Policy – Canhui Liu
We welcome Canhui Liu, Research Fellow in AI policy, to the AI Centre. Canhui specialises in AI governance, the social impact of AI, and network analysis.
He is collaborating with the International Council on Environmental Economics and Development (I-CEED), which is accredited by the UN, on a project to track developments and regulations concerning AI by the UK government and other UK institutions.
He will also examine how AI regulations evolve in the EU, US and Asia from a UK perspective, and will contribute to driving the research and communications within the Rights, Responsibilities, and Fairness Group at the UCL AI Hub in Generative Models.
