My Progression, Award and Classification Rules

The Academic Manual should be read in conjunction with the individual Programme Regulations in the Portico Progression and Award Rules Tool which detail the specific regulations in place on a particular programme for a particular academic session. 

Students should also refer to their Student Handbooks (or equivalent) and departmental/divisional literature for more detailed information about their studies.

Guide to Academic Policy Development and Approval

All academic regulations, policies and procedures must be of publishing quality and must be formally approved through UCL’s formal academic governance structures.

If you are developing a policy for inclusion in the Academic Manual there are a range of procedures and protocols which you will need to follow.
