Engagement with Academic Review increases

UCL Student and Registry Services (SRS) are supporting improvements across our Professional Services.

SRS have set up an Improvement and Strategic Projects team that will create a culture of process review and continuous improvement across the division’s activities, and will work in a collaborative and supportive way with other Professional Services departments.

In 2016, the Strategic Projects team led an improvement project to support Academic Review, the annual process by which departments confirm their offering to students in the next academic year.

As a result of their work, departmental engagement with Academic Review increased to 86% by the deadline, compared with 14% at the same point in the previous year. A portfolio of similar projects has been reviewed and prioritised for the next academic year.
