Shimomura Research Prize (SIROT  AWARD) 2011

SHIMOMURA PRIZE FOR THE BEST INNOVATIVE RESEARCH TRANSLATABLE TO ORTHOPAEDIC CLINICAL CARE

Funded by Prof Yutaka Shimomura of Japan

The Shimomura prize of USD 2,000 award the best original research work, in Orthopaedics or traumatology, either clinical or laboratory, completed within three years prior to the SICOT 2011 XXV Triennial World Congress.

So this year during the 25th SICOT/SIROT Triennal World Congress in Prague, CZECH REPUBLIC, The Shimomura Prize For The Best Innovative Research Translatable To Orthopaedic Cinical Care has been awarded to: PK JAISWAL, N MANGAT, C CHENU, Dr I McCARTHY, Prof. A. GOODSHIP. and Prof. D. MARSH, part of the  University College London, Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (Stanmore), and Royal Veterinary College, London
