MSI Scholarship

The Department of Management Science and Innovation offers scholarships of £10,000 for students on the MSc in Management. The scholarships are offered to support our postgraduate students and demonstrate our commitment to teaching.

All candidates holding an offer of admission will be considered for funding. Applicants without an offer of admission to UCL may be excluded from the selection process. We strongly recommend that applications for admission are submitted no later than four weeks before the scholarship deadline to ensure an offer of a place has been made when the scholarship is allocated.

Procedure

There is no formal application procedure for this scholarship. All prospective students who have been offered a place on the programme by 1 May 2014 will be considered for a scholarship. Decisions about awards will be made by a selection committee consisting of academic staff from the UCL Department of Management Science and Innovation.

The scholarships will be awarded in the following categories:

  • Academic excellence
  • Personal, career or social achievement

Successful applicants will have outstanding results in the qualifications they have already obtained, or will have major achievements in other areas of life.

Notification of results

The scholarship recipients will be informed of their success by the 30 June 2014. We do not accept additional material from candidates unless specifically requested.

Pattihis Family Scholarship

UCL is pleased to announce a new Scholarship, generously funded by Remedica Ltd, for the MSc Management degree in the department of Management Science and Innovation. Remedica Ltd is a pharmaceutical manufacturer based in Cyprus and exporting to more than 100 countries.

One full fee scholarship of £14,250 per year is available for the next 3 years.  As well as covering fees, the Scholarship includes an offer of employment with Remedica (subject to successful completion of degree) and the successful candidate will be expected to develop and progress in their career in management with Remedica, but this is not a binding obligation.

Eligibility

All eligible candidates holding an offer of admission and have submitted a statement of interest as an additional document to their application will be considered for funding. Applicants without an offer of admission to UCL will be excluded from the selection process.

Procedure

Candidates who would like to be considered for the scholarship must upload a one page statement as an additional document to the UCL MSc Management application outlining why they should be considered. This should also cover motivations for employment with Remedica. The UCL MSc Management Admissions panel, in accordance with procedures used by the UCL Scholarships Office, will be exclusively responsible for selecting the best and most deserving student candidates. Remedica will then interview the shortlisted applicants and make the final selection.

We strongly recommend that applications for admission are submitted no later than four weeks before the scholarship deadline of 1st April 2014 to ensure an offer of a place has been made when the scholarship is allocated.
