Are you interested in studying, working or volunteering overseas as part of your UCL experience? Have you already taken part in an international placement while you’ve been at UCL, or is it something you think you might like to do further down the line? Has your international placement regrettably been disrupted or cancelled due to the ongoing pandemic?

International opportunities have been limited this past year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, with disruption to travel and partner cancellations amongst other challenges. To help inform UCL's future offer, UCL Study Abroad wants to gather more information from students across the University. Your feedback will help us tailor the information, support and opportunities available to students, and particularly those from groups who are under-represented in study abroad.

Who should complete the survey

We want to hear from both students who haven't, and students who have, spent time outside the UK studying, working or volunteering abroad during their degree programme.

This excludes studying for your UCL course remotely from outside the UK (e.g. due to Covid-19), but includes any other study, work, volunteer or research activity outside the UK that lasted between 5 days and 1 year during your UCL studies. For example, this could be (but is not limited to) an Erasmus+ placement, student exchange, a semester or year abroad, an overseas summer school, an overseas field-trip, a self-sourced overseas internship, or another short-term international opportunity.
