Master’s students: take our postgraduate survey and win up to £500
20 April 2018
UCL Master’s, PG Dip, PG Cert and PGCE students are invited to take part in the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) which opened on 20 April.
The survey, which is anonymous, asks postgraduate taught students about their experiences of studying here. The PTES aims to capture the range of priorities and expectations of postgraduate taught students, which are often very different to those of undergraduates. The questions cover the teaching and learning experience, dissertation support, feedback from assessments, support services and course organisation.
How to take the survey
Look out for an email on Friday 20 April with your personal link to the survey, or go to https://ucl.onlinesurveys.ac.uk/ptes2018 and login with your student number (number on the front of your student ID card) and your date of birth as password.
The survey should take about 10 minutes to complete. Once the survey closes on 16 June, 250 winners will be selected randomly from all respondents and they will each receive a £10 Amazon voucher. One randomly selected student will win a £500 cash prize.
Why should I complete the survey?
Making improvements relies on having an accurate and up-to-date understanding of your priorities. Recent improvements that have been implemented because of your feedback include:
- Provision of 300 extra study spaces during the exam period in the form of pop-up libraries
- 549 new computers have been installed in 2017/18
- Immediate support through daily drop-in sessions with mental health, disability and wellbeing advisers.
