Feeback from previous course (November 2022)

Overall, this was an excellent day which I really enjoyed and I really hope you will continue.

It was really noticeable how passionate the course leaders are and this really makes a difference.

Valuable learning opportunity

Feel more confident about looking after bereaved families and PM consent.

Being a student, I am yet to start giving bereavement care autonomously but I feel much equipped and aware after the course.

It is obvious that it will be traumatising but having attended the course has in a way prepared me for the job.

This was an excellent study day. The content was great, the speakers were inspiring and passionate. There were many take homes but it also helped to give me confidence that in the areas I knew I am doing the right thing. Thank you! I was unaware of the support some of the charities provide for staff.

The content was great and I enjoyed having the multidisciplinary audience for different perspectives particularly in the break out rooms.

Yes. More confident to inform about diagnosis. It prompted me to get informed about bereavement services in my hospital.

From what I have learnt on the course, I feel less anxious  when supporting and providing care to bereaved parents The knowledge gained  from the specialist speakers, has given me confidence to give respectful care.

Nice to have met the team - very knowledgeable and care team

Feedback from previous course (November 2021)

The whole day was absolutely excellent. I will recommend any future courses highly to my colleagues.

I think this was an excellent course which should be attended by all O&G trainees, as we don't have any formal training on how to provide care/support to bereaved parents.

Great line-up of speakers and sessions, thoroughly enjoyed the day. Extremely informative and interesting - would definitely be keen to attend future courses.

I generally just feel much more confident in how to care for families who have suffered a bereavement.

It was very educative. The knowledge gained from the training has improved my confidence in providing care to grieving parents. I will feel more confident and comfortable participating in the provision of bereavement care in My practice as a result of the course.

Can disseminate knowledge learned during this course to colleagues to improve overall bereavement care throughout our unit.
