Investigation of the correlation between chromosomal anomaly and preimplantation development of human embryos
Project description
My project is aiming to investigate how genetic defects affect development of human preimplantation embryos. We will compare the development of embryos harboring single gene defects or aneuploidy with the development of normal embryos via epidemiological methods. Meanwhile, we will also check the gene expression of related genes in different stages of embryo development via qPCR or next generation sequencing in order to identify possible mechanism for this.
