Business Operations Services join the PS Hub

The Business Operations Services team brings together support and administration colleagues from the Office of the Vice President for Operations to form a centre of support excellence in The PS Hub.
Effective from 2 August 2021 and following an extensive review of the current structure and service offering, VP Operations is aligning their administrative support functions to form a central Business Operations Service team within The PS Hub.
As specialists in HR, finance, procurement, facilities coordination, diary management, office management, recruitment and EA & PA support, the PS Hub Business Operations Services team will deliver a connected and consistent approach to operational, executive and administrative services that are more evenly accessible to all VP Operation Divisions.
In the interim this team will report into the PS Hub Automation & Operational Excellence Director, until the newly formed leadership role - Head of Business Operations Services – has been appointed. VP Operations divisions will continue to access support as they do today and will be notified if this changes in the future as the service evolves.

Through streamlining of common services and processes, this change will enable the teams to build a strong foundation in delivering a high level of support and services, enabling central Professional Services to focus on UCL’s academic mission.
