This is one of many workshops where we are joining forces with our volunteer IOE gardeners.  Come and join Hannah Biggs (Sustainability Projects Lead) and Susan McGrath (Sarahs Garden, IOE) to help us plant a Wild Bloomsbury.

At the event you will learn about planting and the importance of nature for climate adaptation. You will have the chance to put your new gardening skills into practise by planting our new planters, and help us to deliver a Wild Bloomsbury.

Monday 7th June, Tuesday 8th June  and Wednesday 9th June 2021

Times: (11am - 12.30pm), (1pm-2.30pm), (3pm-4.30pm)

Locations: Malet Place outside the Institute of Making.

Booking a place: In the past it has been fine for gardeners to simply turn up on the day, but in order to be Covid compliant it is now essential to let us know in advance that you would like to attend, so that we can manage the numbers in each session.  Each session will have no more than 6 students and staff. Please indicate your preferred time when stating your interest in participating.

Gardening activities will include filling our new planters with compost and plants. Volunteers don’t need any gardening experience, all you need is enthusiasm!
