Free bike maintenance

UCL offers free bike maintenance sessions in the main quad from the Dr Bike pop-up workshop. Cycling is a great way to get around London, and making sure your bike is in good condition can be an important extra confidence boost.

Free bike maintenance

At Dr Bike sessions experienced cyclists and mechanics check everything on your bike from wheels, brakes, gears and tyre pressure to lights, racks, pedals, saddles and more. By the end, your bike will feel loved and cared for.

Minor adjustments to the bike are made there and then. If it can't be fixed on site, mechanics will let you know exactly what needs doing and a rough guide to what it should cost at a bike shop.

Bike Sale

Recycle Your Cycle will be hosting a bike sale on campus. Bikes will be reasonably priced as they are secondhand.

Recycle Your Cycle is a social enterprise working with the prison service to refurbish bicycles and then sell these through the charity sector and universities. This enables charities to raise funds for their particular cause and trains prisoners in bicycle repair and refurbishment, helping them to find employment upon their release.
 
All bicycles come with a 3 month warranty and are competitively priced.
