Dr Serge Guillas elected Vice-Chair of the SIAM Activity Group on Uncertainty Quantification

The Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) is an international community of over 14,000 individual members and the SIAM Activity Group on Uncertainty Quantification has over 500 members worldwide. This group promotes the study of uncertainties across Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, and various scientific fields of application. It organised elections in 2014 and Dr Serge Guillas was elected Vice-Chair.

Dr Guillas will be in office from 1 January 2015 to 31 December 2016.
