Workshop for postgraduate students who teach Mathematics, Statistics and Operational Research

On 16 October 2013 the Department will host a one-day, discipline specific workshop for postgraduate students who teach Mathematics, Statistics and Operational Research. The following topics will be addressed:

• preparing for teaching
• assessing students’ work
• encouraging class participation
• supporting students
• facilitating problem solving classes on a discipline specific context.
