Biographical Details
Dr Ieva Kazlauskaite is a Senior Research Fellow in Statistical Science at UCL, supported by IMSS (the Institute for Mathematical and Statistical Sciences). Prior to that, she held a Biometrika Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the Department of Engineering, University of Cambridge. Ieva completed her doctoral degree at the University of Bath, UK in 2020 working on Gaussian processes, during which she spent 3 years in industry as a Research Engineer at Electronic Arts. Ieva holds an MMath degree from Durham University, UK
Research Interests
Ieva’s research interests span the intersection of computational statistics, machine learning and applied mathematics. Her primary interests include statistical and computational aspects of inverse problems. She is a visiting researcher at the British Antarctic Survey (BAS).
