“We visited the Genetic Automata exhibition at the Wellcome Collection. During the session, we watched a few films and reflected upon human emotions when facing the complexity and intensity of science, race and identity. The exhibition was a great opportunity for us to learn from authors who were historically underrepresented.”

"We are doing some workshops looking at eugenics from a historical angle and in relation to the subject of Statistical Science. We are reading Annals of Eugenics edited by Karl Pearson (pioneer of statistics and eugenics) and are developing our understanding of the historical and social contexts. Karl Pearson founded the department that we study in, the first statistics department in the world."
