Research summary

I am strongly committed to language teaching at all levels.  In my teaching I strive toward global proficiency – oral and cultural—backed by a solid grammatical foundation. My courses integrate readings from Russian literature, folklore, and as much authentic cultural material as possible. I try to make the learning process enjoyable and to enable students to encode personal meaning very early on.

My current research is on teaching foreign languages to students with SpLD (Specific Learning Difficulties). I am working on Russian language materials for students with dyslexia.
