Research summary

Alberto’s field of interest is economic psychology. He studies topics in wellbeing measurement (How can we evaluate if a society, or an individual life, has improved? How can these evaluations help guide public policies?); beliefs formation (Why do people disagree? What is the role of memory, and of wishful thinking?); inter-temporal choice (When and why people sacrifice for their future?); sustainability (What can institutions do to fight climate change?). For more information on Alberto's work, you can consult his personal website.

Biography

Alberto is an Assistant Professor in Economics at the University College of London. He also serves as an Associate Researcher at the University of Oxford and at the London School of Economics. He has a BSc in Econometrics and a B.A. in Philosophy from Pantheon-Sorbonne University, a MRes. in Economics from the Paris School of Economics and a PhD in Economics from Aix-Marseille University. His doctoral research received awards from Aix-Marseille University, Marseille City Hall and the International Society for Quality-of-Life Studies.
