Prof Richard Butterwick Pawlikowski wins Pro Historia Polonorum prize

Prof Butterwick-Pawlikowski has been awarded the Polish Historical Society's Pro Historia Polonorum prize for the best book in a foreign language.

Congratulations to Prof Richard Butterwick-Pawlikowski, Professor of Polish-Lithuanian History, who has been awarded the Polish Historical Society's Pro Historia Polonorum prize, funded by the Senate of the Republic of Poland, for the best book in a foreign language published by a foreign-affiliated scholar on Polish history between 2017 and 2021. His book 'The Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth 1733-1795: Light and Flame' was published by Yale University Press in 2020.
