Academic Visitors Scheme Now Open for Applications

22 May 2019

If you are a post-doctoral, mid-career or senior scholar interested in visiting SSEES, we welcome you to apply for our Academic Visitor Scheme.

London

The SSEES Academic Visitor Scheme is now open and accepting applications!

We have a small number of partially funded opportunities for short and longer-term research visits at the School for Visiting Fellows and Visiting Scholars.  The purpose of the Visiting Fellow (three months) and Visiting Scholar (2-4 weeks) Schemes is to enhance the vibrant research culture of the school, develop and promote links with other universities and scholars, provide staff and research students at SSEES the opportunity to learn from and work with scholars outside SSEES, and offer external academics the opportunity to carry out research at SSEES as well as initiate and continue collaborations with our staff.

We welcome applications from post-doctoral researchers, early- and mid-career and senior academics from a variety of disciplines, including anthropology, critical studies, economics, film studies, history, literature, political science, sociology, and Slavonic studies.

For informal inquiries please contact Dr Riitta Valijarvi, Head of Mobility (r.valijarvi@ucl.ac.uk).
