PhD in Record Time

Congratulations to Valerie Pacer who has successfully defended her PhD thesis, ‘Putin and Medvedev’s Policies towards Euro-Atlantic Security: Between Continuity and Change, 2000-2012’.
Valerie achieved her success in record time having started her PhD in September 2011 and submitting after only two years, four months. She simultaneously taught as a PGTA for two years, on two different courses.
Valerie’s principal supervisor was Pete Duncan and her subsidiary supervisor was Andrew Wilson.
