East European Language Taster Day

From 10 April 2014

A very successful East European Language Taster Day was organised on 31 March for the fifth time for prospective undergraduate students as part of the University of London Taster Course Programme. 

Tasters were given in Finnish, Hungarian, Polish, Serbian/Croatian, Slovak, and Ukrainian. Those attending had a chance to meet current students and found out about careers in languages.

The prospective students commented: "The staff and teaching seem great!";  "I liked the atmosphere and the approach the teachers had" and "The teachers were enthusiastic and very encouraging."
